Unless you live under a rock in Timbuktu or don't have access to the world wide web, then you probably know that Evan made his debut Monday night at 6:47 p.m.!!!!! He's here, he's perfect and he's ours. I will write a longer post with pics as soon as I have time or when I'm not a walking zombie. Just making the quick announcement.
So in love,
Angela

Getting down to the wire!!!!
This coming Wednesday will mark my 38th week of pregnancy....it's almost time!!!! I went to my regular doctor's appointment last Thursday. Everything looks and sounds great....doc said he estimates Evan is between 7 and 7 1/2 pounds....whew!!! He sure is moving around and doing somersaults in my tummy...all the time! He definitely takes after his father's wiggling habits. :) At this point, the doctor says I could go into labor at any time, so Jared has been put "on call" until further notice. It's funny because every time I call his phone for any reason, he answers in a panic like it's "the call"! I think anxiety and nervousness has finally set in for the both of us knowing that our little baby boy could be here at any time.
The nesting instinct has set in too. I've washed, folded, sorted and put up all the little onesies, booties, hats, blankets....all that adorable stuff....we've put up the swing, bouncy seat and pack 'n' play....and today I packed my hospital bag and Evan's coming home bag. The only thing left is to sit and wait for things to start happening!!! We're trying to enjoy our last quiet days as a twosome before life really changes. But, I have to say, this unbearable heat is pretty much keeping me indoors with my feet up so I don't sweat to death or my feet don't swell to three times their normal size!! I don't know how my mother carried TWINS all the way to July 16th in this horrible heat....bless that woman!!!
Speaking of mom, she left this afternoon for her yearly teaching/mission trip to China. Yes, I know, my mom won't be here when I give birth...but, I know she'll be praying for me as I for her and I have two sisters who have been commissioned to help me out should Jared wuss/pass out during labor and delivery. So, I've promised we'll call when the time comes and to send plenty of pictures.
That's about all that is going on in the Pieroni household right now. So, hopefully the next post will be the introduction of our new addition!!! Wish us luck, life will never be the same :)
P.S. Word to the wise, WalMart and Old Navy have been my two favorite places to get clothes while I've been pregnant...nice selection and cheap. Most of the clothes I have aren't even maternity. Thank God empire waist is in style!
Anxiously waiting,
Angela

Time is winding down....
I've been meaning to post this picture, but just haven't gotten around to it, things have been rather busy. We got all the furniture in the nursery put together and I'm starting to fill up all the drawers with all the "necessities".....who knew an infant had so many necessities?? This photo was taken last week, so I'm actually 32 weeks now....seems to be flying by so quickly. I'm doing extremely well...only a few nights of heartburn and a bout of swollen ankles....other than this little boy trying to kick me from the inside out, I can't (or shouldn't) really complain!
I have two baby showers coming up and I'm sooooo excited! The first will be at my church for all the Baptist church ladies. And the other is being thrown by several of my girlfriends and my boss' wife, which should be a blast! Can't wait to get all kinds of cute little boy things. I'm trying to savor this last month or so before we become a family of three and our lives are changed forever. But, we are ready to see our little boy and see what who he looks like! I'll try to get in a last picture or two before d-day and most likely some from the showers.
Stretch mark mama,
Angela

I promise I'm still here
Sorry I haven't updated in awhile....been preparing for our new arrival. In case you haven't seen the nursery pics, I have them posted on my facebook page, so add me!! Everything with the pregnancy is going swimmingly...literally...sometimes it feels like he's just swimming around in my belly...it's so cool!!! He'll be here before we know it, so I'm trying to get as much (sleeping) done before he arrives. This week marks my 30th week of pregnancy, so I'll post an updated belly photo for everyone to ogle. :) Stay tuned.....
Very preggo,

21 Weeks...halfway there.
O.k....so here's a recent preggo pic for those of you who like to keep up with that kind of stuff. I really can't believe this pregnancy is already halfway over! Man, I got to get busy on this kid's nursery, not to mention settle on a name. I'm starting to feel little flutters throughout the day...it really is a feeling you can't explain until you have them yourself. Things are progressing nicely and with no setbacks, thank the Lord. Just wanted to keep you all updated.
Fabulously preggo,
Angela

The news I know you've all been waiting for....
For those of you who either live under a rock or have no internet connection, I went in for my ultrasound today to finally find out what's been sloshing around in mah belly....and the winner is.......a bouncing, baby BOY!!! Woo hoo....Jared and I are both very excited now that we know what we are dealing with precisely. Now, we just have to agree on a name. I had originally picked out a girl name I fell in love with. As luck would have it, we have no use for it. So, now we have to compromise since we both have family names we want to use. I'm sure we'll come to some agreement. Everything is going good, all things look normal and healthy. The ultrasound tech put the due date around July 11th instead of the 15th, but that's subject to change depending on the little guy's mood.
I was going to post the revealing photo of the little boy parts, but they are almost unrecognizable in my opinion. So, I'm posting the profile shot. Boy, he sure has grown since the last ultrasound! Thank you all for the congratulations and well wishes and I will be sure to keep everyone posted on the name situation. If anyone has any suggestions, they are more than welcome!!

A short update
So, I had another doctor's appointment this past Tuesday. Same routine to follow...you know, pee in a cup, let them take some blood, weigh me (uggh) and all that jazz. However, this time we got to hear the baby's heartbeat for the first time. How exciting is that?!! It didn't take the doctor two seconds to find it, which is a good sign. Sounded good and strong too. I told Jared it sounded like a girly heartbeat, but he's still convinced it's a boy.
My next appointment is February 17th....it will be the one everyone has been asking about...we will finally get to find out if it's a boy or girl swimming around in my belly! Woo hoo!!! So, until then, I will be anxiously waiting until that day arrives.
Later taters,
Angela

14 weeks and counting....
O.k....so like a million people have asked me to post a preggers pic....I guess they want to see just how big I am! So, here I am, 14 weeks tomorrow....can't believe it's already been that long. I only had morning sickness for about two weeks and that was during the time no one knew. I must be part of the lucky few, I don't see how people make it feeling like that for the entire pregnancy! I haven't felt any "fluttering" yet, but this baby is already sitting on top of my bladder causing the never ending trips to the bathroom all day AND night. But, it's totally worth it. My next doctor's appointment is on January 20th and we will get to hear the heartbeat and see how much the little bean has grown....so exciting. From my calculation, we will likely get to find out the gender at my February appointment and decide if we will go with the girl's name I have fallen in love with or the boy's name that Jared will be calling "his boy". Either way, we are both excited of the progress so far and look forward to updating everyone after this next appointment!
P.S. Do all pregnant woman start showing this early or is it because I waited so long to have a child?

The best kept Christmas secret!!!
First of all, I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!!!! I know we did!!!! Jared and I have been keeping this huge secret since the first of December and thought it would be the perfect Christmas gift to share with everyone. Let me back up a little bit.....about a month ago, I started feeling queasy and nauseous every morning and my boobs started to hurt....too much information?? Anyway, me being the realistic one, figured out what was going on but Jared wanted to make sure. Soooooo, on the first of December, I took a pregnancy test. After three agonizing minutes of waiting, there was a nice, big plus sign waiting for us on the bathroom counter! I was pretty calm, but excited. Jared freaked out just a little bit, but we decided I should go to the doctor to make sure. Two appointments and one ultrasound later, we have a nice picture of our growing little baby!!! I announced it to my family on Christmas Eve, wherein my twin sister proceeded to scream with excitement. We then announced it to Jared's family on Christmas day....where his mother and grandmother started crying with happiness and joy. All in all, it' s been a pretty exciting holiday for the both of us. Thank you to all of you who have sent us congratulations and well wishes!
According to the doctor, I am eleven weeks and my expected due date is July 15th....one day before my birthday!! Let's just hope it's not the hotter summer on record like the year I was born. Heat and I don't do well together, especially if I have a big ole belly too! So begins a new chapter in our life, one that I know will be wonderful and full of surprises for the both of us.
So, now you know why I've been holding out on the blog posts...I was afraid of letting out the secret. Stay tuned for the ultrasound pic and future belly pics!
Feeling blessed,
Angela

Another evening after church....
So, guess what??? I am off work today, tomorrow and Wednesday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay for me...I haven't had a vacation since my honeymoon, so this is well deserved. Since I'm having a little sabbatical, I decided to catch up on the blog, emails, Christmas decorating and all that jazz.
It's going to be a nice, relaxing week for yours truly. Without further adieu, a few pictures after church yesterday.
Good ole Mom and Dad....they are a hoot, even better in their old age! ha ha
Me and Manda Panda.....not many pictures of us together when we're not goofing off.
Amanda and her boyfriend, Josh.....he's not offended by our ridculous behavior and nasty stories...so, in my book, he's a keeper!!

I know, I know....only three pictures.....well, I'm saving up for the Christmas holidays since Jared is buying me a new camera! So, my Christmas post will be the shiznitoflamsnipsnap....don't miss it!

I swear I'm still alive!
Sorry it's been so long since I've posted...it's just that, well, nothing really blogworthy to write about. We did have a nice Thanksgiving holiday though....lots of wonderful foods and a trip to see Arkansas beat LSU on Little Rock turf....this year I spent turkey day with Jared's side of the family, but, no worries, Christmas time is upon us and I'm sure we will make up for lost time for my side of the family!!! Also, I have asked "Santa" for a new camera since I've almost completely worn out my other one. So, I anticipate a picture frenzy the likes of which you have never known....but, what else is new?
Not really a great post, so I'll include a cute picture of Jared and I as well as a couple of my crazy parents!

Birthday Wishes!!!
Yesterday was my niece, Brooklynn's NINTH birthday party!!! NINE people! I have a nine year old neice....what's even more unbelievable is that I have a nephew that turned SEVENTEEN on the fifth of this month as well. So, basically, I've been an aunt since I was twelve years old and I wouldn't change a thing. Brooklynn is totally in the "High School Musical" phase, so that was the theme of her party. Besides getting new Browning coat, she got a cool new Hannah Montana bicycle. Wish I was still excited when my birthday rolled around. But, why in the world would I want to celebrate the fact that on my next birthday I will be 29? Nope. No reason!
This is our friend, Carole's, little girl...Annsley....she's so quiet and reserved....I swear I never heard the child talk....SOOO much different than Brooklynn.
Here's my sister, Manda Panda, as Daddy calls her.
This is a recent picture of my mother and I. Can you see the resemblance?
And here are me and my good friend, Valerie, right after church this morning. Still good friends after all these years!!
Another after church picture of my mother and Brookie.
So....I just couldn't resist going to visit little Ann Marie and Sarah again. This time, becky, Meagan and I all went to give Sarah some company and human contact. This little girl got sooo much attention from all of us and was a sweet, little angel while we were visiting. I'm glad we all could entertain Sarah, even for just a little while.

Then, it was "Aunt" Meagan's turn. I think Megs was a little nervous, but Ann Marie didn't mind getting passed around at all.
Since, this weekend was the opening weekend of deer season, all of us girls became "deer widows". I was so anxious just to have the bed for myself for two nights it was ridiculous. Of course, I missed Jared. But, I got some heavenly sleep while he wasn't here. So, it was really low-key weekend for me and it was WONDERFUL!!! Sure hate that Monday is already almost here....but, I'm looking forward to this upcoming weekend where Jared, myself and a few friends will be headed to Starkville to see the Arkansas/Mississippi State game. Should be lots of fun and the perfect opportunity to take more gratuitous pictures!!

Cute and Adorable Overload!!!
After work today, I had the pleasure of going to visit one of the cutest, sweetest newborns here in Lake Village!!! May I introduce to you Miss Ann Marie Sabbatini. She was born around 5 pm on October 29th to my friends Sarah and Dino Sabbatini. Of course I had to take some gratuitous photos to mark the occaison!! She is soooo cute....without the pacifier, you would be able to see her perfect, ruby red Angelina Jolie lips (thanks to the full pout her mother sports). She has her father's small, precise little ears and her mother's other small features.
Of course, she fit perfectly in my arms. I think I'll ask Jared for one of these for Christmas!!! Hee hee...maybe not Christmas...but soon!!! On to the cuteness overload.....

Can I get a collective "awwwww"? Sarah, I'll babysit anytime....I have references, I swear...just ask my nieces and nephew!!!
Baby lovin' Angela!

Halloween Party Extravaganza!!!!
O.k.....I know I haven't posted in awhile...I've been holding out to post about our first annual Halloween party!!! It was a complete success to say the least. Everyone had a great time and just about the entire crowd came in costume. We worked really hard to decorate, provide plenty of food and some rockin' music! I think the overall number was somewhere between 140-150 people that came through the front door. That's not counting those who hung out in the parking lot and "socialized"...tight wads....anyway, we are already planning the second annual party for next year.
So, without further adieu....here are a few of the pictures I took...and by few, I mean a small selection of the 177 pictures I took throughout the night....If you want the entire collection, go check out my Myspace album under my profile.
Enjoy!!!!

So close, yet so far away!!
That is all I have to say about the Arkansas/Ole Miss game this past weekend....so close....yet so far away!!!! Ugghhh...we should've went for the field goal!!!!! Anyway, we watched the game over at our friend's Grace and Emerson's house. Grace is pregnant, so being the girls that we are, we decided to try some old wives' tales on her to determine the sex of the baby. All of them said she would be having a baby boy!!!
Here is little Katherine...she's the quiet one in the family...and look at that cute little mullett!!
Kids are drawn to me...what can I say??

Nathan....the more rowdy, outgoing one of the two...can you tell?

And here we have Neal. Laid back and chillin' like a villain....

Next, we have Meagan and Myself...I just like to call her Megs...she's a peach!!
Maegan, Grace and myself....you can't even tell Grace is pregnant...hope I'm like that!
Here is the baby blanket that Becky bought for the future baby Perry...don't judge them because they are Mississippi State fans.

Becky made her arrival after driving from Starkville for a relative's wedding...doesn't she look so sophisticated??
Becks and Megs...two of the greatest friends a girl could ask for!

So, coming up this weekend is the big blowout Halloween party that I'm helping to hostess. I have gotten my costume, slippers, stockings and all the necessary accessories to complete "my look". Everyone is getting really excited about seeing all the costumes that we have all come up with. I have already bought extra batteries in case the ones in my camera go low. The next entry I post should be a fabulous review of the happenings going on down here in the L.V.

Toodles,
Angela
